I would definitely grab a copy of Lonely Planet India. It will give you some insight into the country and culture, and it lists all sorts of sights, hotels, etc.

locations all over the country. Be sure that you are prepared health-wise to travel to India.

will need a few vaccines (just which ones are listed in the LP book actually, but consult with a doctor) and you should be prepared to get sick at some point- almost all travelers to India experience some stomach trouble of varying degrees on account of the different bacteria they encounter there, but your body will adjust in time.

clothing, keep it modest and cool.

weather will be hot, and it will be culturally innapropriate to show much skin. Ankle-length skirts are good, but consider having some local clothes made once there (it will be cheap), like a salwar kameez, which is a tunic top with matching pants. It's comfortable, lightweight, modest, and the locals will appreciate your trying to adapt to their culture. Be prepared emotionally. You're going to see some difficult things.

poverty in India is mind-boggling, and absolutely shocking to a westerner.

me when I say you haven't seen anything like it.

are women with babies living on the street, people without limbs, and the list goes on.

have to remain sympathetic without letting it get you down too much- a degree of numbness is sadly neccasery. Be open minded and ready to see and experience new and wonderful things! India, though not without problems, is AMAZING! The colors, the food, the people- wow! I love it.

it slow, learn as you go, and try to make some local friends who can show you the ropes.

a safe trip!

Hi. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley.

are also avoided on the gluten free diet because although they dont actually contain gluten, they are harvested and processed with wheat, causing them to be unsafe for the gluten free diet.

only ppl who really benefit from the GF diet are those with Celiac Disease, gluten intolerance, allergies or those with autism.

is generally not in wine. It is in all beer except specially made GF beers like Redbridge from Anheiser Busch. If u think u have Celiac, (which you could), you should be blood tested for it and possibly have the endoscopy done (more info at www.csaceliacs.org) BUT you need to be eating gluten before testing for it to be right! So DO NOT Start the GF diet if you feel u might want to do the tests.

feel free to email me with any further questions.

you.

You're going to be so surprised.put that baby in his car seat and take off. You'll most likely make it the majority of the way without even stopping.

the baby a bath prior to leaving.he'll feel nice and warm and he will sleep Pack diapers, wipes, and clothes.

your bouncy seat w/ you. It's the best invention ever.he can sleep in it and you won't have to hold him the entire time. And, take your stroller. If you have to stop to feed him or change him.if you pull over.keep your car on, climb in the back seat and take care of him.keep your doors locked for safety!

I've done a 'Decadence' party. It was strictly black tie, with very decadent foods and fabrics(for tablecloths, napkins, etc.) Things like flowing champagne, chocolates, lots of glowing amber lights(you can get these at a party store). The minute you put the word decadence into someones head, everything becomes more glamorous and luxurious.
